Robin O’DellHi Michael, I would like to thank you for the advice and technical support in my recent purchase of an ICE ignition system. The combination of the ICE system and the FAST EZ-EFI has transformed my car with the steadiest idle and excellent throttle response that it never had previously. I will definitely highly recommend ICE to any person that is looking to upgrade their ignition system after the results that I have seen first hand. I have also attached a picture of my car.
Stuart JamesMichael, You were spot on, voltage booster only getting 8 volts when running (must have been a ballasted ignition wire). Changed supply to 12 volts, set timing to 20deg, set curve to 10 deg, runs smooth as. Will road test it as soon as I can (no rego yet). Thanks for your help, much appreciated. I will definitely recommend ICE ignition systems to all, and also the after sales service and advice. Cheers.
Stewart RobinsonHi Michael, Stewart here! I finally got a break from work and got a chance to install my ignition kit. Would just like to say the car starts better than it ever has! Revs like a demon and I can't wait to get it down the quarter mile! It has always had a rough idle because of the cam but now it sounds extra tough. Paul LynchAtt: Michael Konstandinou - ICE Ignition, This letter has been sent to you for your help , understanding, effort and fault finding that has helped me, the customer, make my V8 go again. In short, I purchased a full ICE system for my mighty Mopar recently. With it fitted, the car performed great. However, soon after, the car broke down. Upon trying to restart the engine, we found the timing was way out. Mechanics quickly pointed the finger at the ICE system as being faulty. They said they couldn't find a problem with anything else. After 8 hours of pulling the motor to bits and back again to check that the timing chain had not jumped a tooth, I approached Michael from ICE for help. After giving him a quick run down, he confidently said "it won't be a problem with the ignition system, but please bring it in and we'll check it out". So I did. Not only did he bench test the whole system, he organized a 550hp 10sec car with an ICE system, so I could see my ignition working in that car. (THANK YOU TORANA!). With his focus on complete customer satisfaction, he unequivocally proved to me that the ignition was not the problem after a blast in the Torana. He then walked me through how to set up the ignition back into my engine. With his help, I did it. An awesome feeling having your ride running again! I'm only an enthusiast, but you have to wonder when you know more than today's mechanics. In the end, all it ended up being was the distributor had come loose. And two separate mechanics couldn't figure that out. Michael figured it out without even seeing the car, and with his help, I had the car running again in 8 minutes! Big up to you mate! From the average revhead, well done!
