ICE Ignition Continues its Dominance…
ICE Ignition has continued its dominance of the US Engine Masters in 2010 with both 1st and 2nd placed engines using complete ICE Ignition systems.
Multiple winner Tony “The Horsepower King” Bischoff demoralised the competition with his awesome late model Chrysler Hemi, winning by the biggest ever margin in the history of this prestigeous competition. This was also the first EFI equipped engine to ever win the event. Having twin plugs per cylinder, this engine ran two complete ICE Ignition systems, each including an 8100 Series distributor, 7000E 7 Amp ignition module, 2316 voltage booster, 4200 Pro Series coil and 8mm Race 1000 Series plug wires
Second place belonged to John Lahone from JL Engines with his stout 400 Small Block Chevrolet. Restricted by a dual plane manifold and a 750 double pumper, this engine produced a phenominal torque curve to easily capture 2nd place, 70 points ahead of third. John also chose a complete ICE Ignition system, comprising an 8200 Series distributor, 7842MC 7 Amp 2 Step ignition control, 2316 voltage booster, 4200 Pro Series coil and 9mm Pro 100 plug wires.
