The ICE 2316 Booster is a compact and lightweight voltage booster to complement ICE 7 Amp DIS ignition systems.

It takes an input of 10 - 15 volts and produces a steady output of 16 volts to coil positive. Therefore, the state of charge of the battery has no effect on ignition system performance.

Maximum rated output current is 7.5 amps continuous or 10 amps for 30 seconds.

The 2316 booster can still be used even if an alternator is fitted, to boost voltage from the alternator's 13.8 - 14.8 volts to 16 volts, however, it is not necessary to use an alternator if space and weight are an issue

ICE Boosters feature an extruded black anodised aluminium case with durable laser etching and stainless steel tamper proof screws.
